Oh my gosh! What terrific photos, Kathleen! Especially the one with the two youngsters peeking out! What kind of camera and lens are you using? Is the nesting box close to your home? How lucky you are to be able to witness these splendid moments!!

Hi Caroline, the camera is a Nikon D40 and the lens is a Nikon AFS Nikkor 55-200mm. The nesting box is right in my backyard and it's been a lot of fun to see the wren parents going in and out to feed the babies.

Hi Kathleen,

Cool pix! We just had a litter of wrens leave a birdhouse in the backyard. Me and Banjo (and I think mom too), are glad to see them gone. The parents were so noisy! Every time we got close to the birdhouse, the parents would start this annoying chirping and just would not shut up. Mom moved the birdhouse after the chicks flew away so they didn't start making more babies. Now they have to go do it in the front yard!

Wags & wiggles,
Bijou

Lol, Bijou! Yes, the parents do chirp a lot if Cloud or I get close. I don't mind too much because I love it when they sing. :-)
